Mary Louise Zander


In 1995 Zander launched Marketing Department, an international marketing consulting firm, now incorporated as the Business Resource Group, LLC. She has ten years of experience as a professional consultant and account manager to a personal client list which includes manufacturing companies, healthcare service providers and hospitals, financial institutions, professional services, federal and municipal government and nonprofit organizations.

She has ten years experience in senior management positions international corporations, creating and implementing successful corporate and product marketing programs, brand positioning, marketing communications and public relations programs.

Zander performs detailed client business analysis to identify short-and-long term business objectives, and then designs results oriented solutions. She routinely provides dynamic strategic business and marketing plans, profit improvement processes, business growth strategies and market analysis.

A skilled and experienced facilitator, Zander has developed a unique community visioning/community building process which has proven successful in identifying viable community outcomes for the reuse of brownfield sites, disposition of historic buildings, and the identification of desired community land use alternatives.

She regularly presents seminars on various aspects of marketing and business development and facilitates strategic planning, board development, feasibility studies, focus group processes and market research projects. She has a B.S. degree in Chemistry and is a graduate of the Senior Executive Development Program at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
